At Prevail Church, we anchor our beliefs in the foundational truth proclaimed by Apostle John: “God is Love” (1 John 4:8). We understand Jesus Christ, the Word of God (logos), to be the perfect revelation of God’s love and character. As a Christocentric community, we affirm the uniqueness of Jesus as the exclusive and visible image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15). In His incarnation, Jesus was fully man and fully divine, embodying perfect theology and revealing the depth of God’s love for humanity.

Our faith is grounded in the optimistic and victorious eschatology found in Scripture (1 Corinthians 15:57). We believe in the all-encompassing nature of Jesus Christ’s death, burial, resurrection, and ascension, which were universally applied to all of creation (Romans 5:18). Through His sacrificial work, Jesus reconciled humanity to God, removing the barrier of sin and restoring our relationship with Him (2 Corinthians 5:18-19). The alienation that humanity once felt from God has been fully reconciled through Jesus, leading to the invitation for all to experience the fullness of joy available in Him (John 10:10).

While the inclusion of all humanity in the Finished Work of Jesus is unconditional, we recognize that embracing this gift through belief leads to the fullness of joy already available to us (John 3:16). Belief in Christ’s finished work removes the deception of sin and separation from our minds, awakening our spirits to the transformative power of grace (Ephesians 2:8-9). As we grow in grace and maturity, we embrace the renewal and transformation of our minds through the finished work of Jesus (Romans 12:2).

Join us at Prevail Church as we delve deeper into these truths, growing in our understanding of God’s love and grace, and experiencing the abundant life that Jesus offers (John 10:10).
